INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
OF
BLUE MARBLE® & REV-ER-UPTM PRODUCTS
BLUE MARBLE®
- Use only in 2 stroke motors
- In oil injected motors, remove as much of the old oil as possible from the oil reservoir before filling with Blue Marble® oil. A turkey baster, only a couple bucks at the grocery store, works well for this. Add a length of rubber hose to it if you need to, to reach deep enough into the reservoir. It is okay to leave a very small amount in the bottom, so as not to introduce air into the oil line. The purpose of this is to introduce Blue Marble® oil into the system, in full strength, as soon as possible. You will not get the full effect of Blue Marble® oil if you mix it with your old oil. Then fill the oil reservoir with Blue Marble® oil and run the motor as usual. There is no special "break in" procedure. Just run normally.
- In tank mix motors, and can filled motors, start with an empty tank or can. Do not mix Blue Marble® oil with your old oil. You will not get the proper effect of Blue Marble® oil if you mix it with your old oil. Put the Blue Marble® oil in the tank or can, then add fresh gasoline as usual. Run the motor as usual. There is no special "break in" procedure. Just run normally. If your fuel tank or can is metal, double the amount of Blue Marble® oil for the first tankful. This is important, as the can itself will undergo the metal conversion process, and use up some of the Phosfamid® compound in the Blue Marble® oil. After the first full tankful, go back to your regular mix.
- It is important to remember that Blue Marble® oil is a bio degradable product, and therefore, water will break it down. Make sure to keep all product capped tightly in its original container, to keep humidity and any other moisture out. Same applies to oil reservoirs, tanks and cans.
- If you've been using synthetic oil, add STP Complete Fuel System Cleaner, in the recommended amount, to your fuel tank, for the first full tank of fuel. This will facilitate and accelerate the removal of burned in paraffins that synthetic oils contain. It will take longer to notice the effects of Blue Marble® oil if you've been using synthetic oil. Run the motor as usual. There is no special "break in" procedure. Just run normally.
- If you're putting Blue Marble® oil in a brand new motor, there are no special requirements. Follow the same procedures as above, and follow engine manufacturer's normal break in instructions.
REV-ER-UPTM
- Use only in 4 cycle gas or diesel engines.
- Do not use with synthetic oil.
- Does not work with oils with high calcium or ash contents.
- Add Rev-Er-UpTM soon after an oil change. Use 2 ounces Rev-Er-UpTM per quart of crankcase oil. Lasts 15,000 to 25,000 miles. Change your oil and filter at your normal intervals. This will have no effect as the metal conversion process will have already taken place.
- Start and warm the engine to normal operating temperature. Stop the engine and add the recommended amount of Rev-Er-UpTM to the crankcase oil. Immediately restart the engine and let it run awhile. It is best to add Rev-Er-UpTM immediately before extended normal use, 100 miles or so, or 2 hours. This is important, because if you don't run the engine awhile, and you have a metal oil pan, the oil pan itself will use up more of the Phosfamid® compound in the Rev-Er-UpTM than normal.
- If you're putting Rev-Er-UpTM oil in a brand new motor, there are no special requirements. Follow the same procedures as above, except, follow engine manufacturer's normal break in instructions.
